my weird monster
that thing in my closet
which isn't clothes
is beyond my comprehension
and without any toes
it smells really weird
and it has a green beard
with tiny eyes that mesmerise
and a strange liking for pies
oh what oh what could it be
could it have come from the sea?
with its big floppy ears as flippers
and its many many zippers?
oh what could it be?
